  Customer service could be better. First time driving a truck. The back was dirty as I had to mop it before putting my belongings in it. The cabin was clean. There should be a written manual for easy access and avoid talking to customers service. Cost me just under $300 for 6 hours hire. Would not book with them again.

  Overall the hire process was smooth and the van we chose definitely served its purpose for helping us move our belongings to our new home.
  
  I recommend people use these services to at least move most of your belongings that you can move yourself and leave the really heavy stuff to the removalists on the day - this will dramatically cut down your costs. If we didn’t use the van hire we probably would be adding hours to the removalists’ work on the day.
  
  One negative - The vehicle was already damaged when we picked it up and I would have appreciated if Gecko notified us of this beforehand although the call centre staff were helpful and acknowledged they knew already when we called to inform them.
  
  Still, I would recommend these guys as the hire price is quite reasonable.

  They are good but they are like all the other truck companies. Service was lousy but the truck itself when I finally got it was great. I would have like a manual on the truck to know what the lights on the dash were. As I have never driven one before so for new comers would be great and very helpful

  I needed a 4.5 tonne truck that was easy to drive and mostly to make my move easy. I couldn’t have found a better truck. I’m not an experienced truck driver but this was genuinely easy. I’ll use them again for sure.
